It's like politics... but tastier. Yes, folks, we're making sausage.
In partnership with Traditions Sausage, the Dionysians will be exploring the joys of spice blends and cured meat processing in a hands-on demo class where we will prep and pack some spicy pork. Following our adventures in cranking, squeezing, and bow-tying, we will create an early dinner spread featuring our very own packaged pig parts, grilled up and accompanied by salad, bread, and that glorious fermented grape juice we have all come to know and love.
$20 tickets cover cost of meat and instruction and a glass of wine. Take away recipe hand-outs, skills for life, and a belly full of fun. Host will provide some wine, but attendees are encouraged to bring more. You must buy tickets online, or call to RSVP @ 510/205-9506.
